#TRANE ROVER COMM4 ADAPTER SERIAL#
I did not change any serial settings in the property sheet of commFour driver although it does state in their manual that they may need to be changed. The revision of the TCI according to the Human Interface is 9.02 on every unit I looked at. In the Human Interface I am enabled for remote/BAS control and the TCI shows as installed. I have verified that dip switch 1 is on and 2/3 are off for Comm 4 communication on the TCI. It has to be a config problem of some sort. I have tried this with (3) different bus' at the same site with (3) different RTU's, same problem. I believe Rover does not have the capability. I have verified I can hit the RTU at the address set in the Human Interface by using Rover and their Comm 4 adapter. At times I can discover the address of that same RTU while on the bus. I disconnect the existing com bus from terminal 19 and 20 and land mine to the JACE ( short piece of wire) and will not discover the RTU. I CANNOT for the life of me connect directly to a RTU without the bus connected. No problems have been noticed to date with that. So that tells me the existing bus is somewhat OK because they are talking fine to the BCU and JACE. Well first these units are currently connected to a BCU and integrated to a JACE via IP.

The points never have a chance to update or show any value. Then the unit will show down and only come up for a couple seconds. I can intermittently discover the RTUs and bring them into Niagara. I am having problems keeping the controllers online once I discover them, If I discover them. I am attempting to integrate about 20 Trane RTUS with TCI cards in them to a JACE via a Maxline CommFour Driver. Hoping someone has something up their sleeves for me here.
